The Three Character Classic, also known as Tam Tu Kinh (三·子經)·
In this passage, the Master explains that in the book “Tam Tu Kinh” of the Holy Way, it is taught: The original nature of human beings was once benevolent, and that nature shares the same essence as the Buddha and Heaven. However, due to an unperceived moment, humans created karma and went through the cycle of rebirth, becoming sentient beings. At birth, human mind and nature are innocent, so they do not yet desire anything. Gradually growing up, they are influenced by society around them and become enamored with fame and profit, physical attraction and wealth, committing evil and sinful deeds, causing the innate goodness to be buried.
If humans do not receive moral guidance, who knows whether their corrupt mind can be trained back into goodness. Therefore, the Master earnestly reminds everyone to recall their original benevolent nature (Awakening). And on the path of awakening his followers, regardless of whether people criticize or dislike it, it does not matter.
In the past, the Buddha taught numerous scriptures like forests or seas, but nowadays, very few people understand and realize their meaning. This is because his great disciples recorded them entirely in Sanskrit.
