People living in the South called “Nam-Phương”, meaning the South direction, this refers to Vietnam. It also refers to the Southern Continent of Jambudvipa, one of the four great continents in the Sahā world.
The Master once said:
“The central realm revolves towards the South,
Opening the Investiture to choose loyal and virtuous people.”
(The Wonderful Dharma of Luminous Light)
Because the cycle of reincarnation in Vietnam will aim for the center of the globe: “The central realm revolves in the South, Opening the holy assembly to choose loyal and virtuous people” (The Wonderful Dharma of Light), so later and here there will be: “Buddhas, Immortals, and Saints bringing peace and stability to the nation”? (No Sleepy) and:
“On Long-Hoa investiture, Holy Spirits down Sahā world,
Select good people and destroy demons.”

Precious jewels, referring to the seven treasures: gold, silver, lapis lazuli, mother-of-pearl, coral, agate, coral, and amber. The Master said: “The treasures of the South are precious jewels and pearls” (To the True Land of the North). And:
“The South shines with dazzling jewels,
Lapis lazuli and amber adorn many castles.”
