Because of the phrase ‘Loyal to the King, Filial to Parents.’ Wholehearted loyalty to the nation is called loyalty; respect, care, and obedience to parents is called filial piety. Loyalty and filial piety are two of the Four Great Graces. The Master observed that nowadays few people fully uphold Filial Piety and Loyalty, so He often advises:

“Some’s marital bond is a disgrace,

Others’ loyalty and filial piety both fail.”

The men need to learn how to gain wizardry,

Loyal and filial, they uphold the morals,
