Here, the Venerable Master reminded everyone of the brief history of Buddha Shakyamuni. In the past, during his youth, he realized the suffering and misery of human life: “Fame, wealth, and power are all but dreams.” (Emptiness). Living beings only worry about distinguishing and tearing each other apart, ultimately all follow the path of birth, aging, sickness, and death. Therefore, he resolutely abandoned his high position and worldly attachments to find the true path to alleviate the suffering of all beings. Today, the Master humbly acknowledges that although he does not yet fully understand, out of altruism, he feels it is his duty to explain the history of Buddha Shakyamuni to all his followers.
