In the first volume of the Prophetic Teachings, the Supreme Leader revealed that the Lower Era was nearing its end, the end times were imminent, World War II was about to break out, and all people would suffer from hunger, pain, and war. He also recounted that before directly teaching and guiding sentient beings, He used various means to travel through the Six Provinces, that is, the six southern provinces of Vietnam. He disguised himself as a boatman, a merchant, a beggar, or a disabled person; sometimes he disguised himself as old, young, male, female, etc., in order to awaken people, letting them know that a Buddha or Immortal had descended to earth to awaken the masses, so that they could soon return to the path of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
