Form and emptiness are fundamentally the same essence, like waves and water. Thus, the phrase “seeking the word of form and emptiness” refers to realizing the “true nature of one’s own original reality.” The Master once taught: “Only by seeking the void can one truly have” (Folk Verses, Vol. 2) and: “Form is emptiness, emptiness is form, do not separate them” (Awakened Friends in the Mortal World)
