A kind and good person does not unintentionally or intentionally cause harm to any other living being. The Master once said in the poem “Not Sleepy”: “The Buddha’s compassion is pure and noble, The virtuous person enjoys countless blessings.”
Here, the Supreme Leader wants to say: currently, it is the time when demons and evil people are flourishing, using all means to oppress and harm good people: “A gentleman adapts to the times, even a slight setback is acceptable; a petty person relies on brute force to charge forward.” (For Mr. Chin Diem) It’s like a chicken that has lost its advantage. Therefore, everyone should be patient (wait for the right time): “Be patient until the hardship is over, then when the time comes, you will find peace.” (Several Sections of the Heart).
