A horoscope is a specific astrological chart created for an individual, usually based on their date, time, and place of birth, providing predictions or insights.

According to physiognomy, Polaris is a major star in fortune-telling. According to Chinese astronomical texts, Tử Vi is the star of the wise ruler (Polaris). This represents the star of the Virtuous Holy King of Vietnam in later times.

“In Heaven appears Polaris,
So bright and wise, oh people!”

However, he also warned the people not to foolishly follow the heretics, who take advantage of the lack of understanding by the public to set up complicated rituals, charms, and spells to collect money from the people. Some people follow good and evil deeds, learn to cast lots, discuss auspicious or inauspicious matters, read fortunes to foresee misfortunes, deceive people, and destroy the proper Dharma of the Buddha. He said that all matters of good or bad primarily come from one’s own actions, and one cannot remove karmic obstacles by just using talismans.
