Lotus

The lotus pedestal, where Buddhas and Bodhisattvas sit. Those who practice the Pure Land Buddhism of reciting the Buddha’s name, upon being reborn in the Pure Land, will also sit upon it.

Master Huiliu said:

“Whoever strives diligently to cultivate themselves,

Wholeheartedly practices meditation, will sit on the lotus throne.”

The Master also said:

May the old and young, men and women,

Let’s all recite the Buddha’s name together and ascend to the lotus throne.”
