He is Mr. Lê Văn Phối, living in Long Quới II hamlet, Long Điền commune, Chợ Mới district (An Giang), about 1 kilometer upstream of Xẻo Môn canal. He served as the Hương master in the village Hội Tề Board during the French colonial period, so he is commonly referred to as Chủ Phối (He is related to Đức Bà, the mother of Đức Thầy).
