the drop is more elastic and hard to break when it can resist the extensive stretching. The Master refers to the flexibility of His teachings to the people who are not at the same level of knowledge and consciousness of goodness for understanding the Buddha Dharma.
Some people are shrewd and the others daft,
When they see the bloodshed, will they practice.
Now We pretend to be stupid,
Just like Ren Gui in prison in the old days.
