MINH VUONG — 明 王 King of wisdom Because humans are too arrogant, violent, and commit many crimes, the Jade Emperor wants to eliminate them. But thanks to Duc Minh Vuong, who was full of mercy for the people in danger of destruction, He was very worried about finding a way to save them. He personally came to kneel in front of Linh Khuu to pray to the Buddha for his compassion and wisdom to command all Buddhas to come to earth to open the Dharma and save the people. This in the Prophecy for Men, Master Hue Luu clearly stated: “King Minh came to the Buddha Hall, The teachings advise the central people to practice.” “This madman obeys Minh-Vuong’s orders, With the Buddha’s orders, he went down to preach to the people.” (SG District 1) This passage means that the Master never deceives his followers and people, but always reveals the truth. let everyone know: in the future there will be a Holy King residing at the Imperial Citadel of Vietnam to judge ungrateful people: “On the wise king holds the scales, Under a judge of integrity, judgment is fair.” (Nostalgia) “This old man doesn’t say anything devious, That deceives sentient beings. Duc Minh-Vuong resides in Nam-Thanh, Deng judges those who are disloyal.” Repentance Teachings, Volume I, 249 Commentary on Repentance (1975)

The lecture above by the Master indicates that in the past, Marquis Xi Bai (King Wen) was revered by people as a sage, yet he was still imprisoned by King Zhou at Yuli for seven years. How much more so, then, can the effort to save the world in the present time avoid the suppression of lawless powers and the slander of the world.

Looking back at sentient beings who are rolling in the sea of worldly suffering, from one disaster to another without end, it is no different than the time of Jie and Zhou, when the people had to grieve and lament under the cruel rule of those two kings. Because Jie and Zhou were excessively weak, some were burned to death, others lost their lives; the foundations and achievements of ancestors fell into the hands of others, and they left a disgraceful reputation for all generations.

Thinking with compassion for the Bright King, a figure of intelligence and virtue, following the example of Yao and Shun in cultivating oneself and establishing good conduct, in order to: “Establish a universal harmony across the world” so that humanity may benefit.
