THẬP BÁT CHƯ HẦU:

Mười tám nước nhỏ chung quanh phục tùng một nước lớn. Nghĩa bóng là chỉ khắp thế giới. Cũng như vạn quốc hay chư bang, chỉ hết thảy các nước đã có trên thế giới (hoàn cầu). Giảng xưa có câu: “Mười tám nước lai giáng hàng đầu”. (Kim Cổ Kỳ Quan). Đức Giáo Chủ PGHH thường nhắc đến: “Các nơi liệt quốc chư bang, Chúc cầu bình trị trướng loan sum vầy”.

EIGHTEEN STATES (VASSALS): 

Eighteen satellite countries around submit to one big nation-state.  In a figurative sense, it means the whole world like a popular saying 'the ten thousand states', that is to say, all the countries over the world.

The old ode said: "Eighteen states stand on the first line" (Kim Co Ky Quan).  Lord Master, the founder of Hoa Hao Buddhism, often referred to "To all the states and territories, may you all work together under the same roof."
